HI,
I have a 87 Nissan 300zx non-turbo and I recently took out my plugs and visually checked them they all looked really good so I put them back in now when I start my car up it has a horrible clunking noise from the top end and eventually makes the motor stall, when revved the clunking noise increases checked the plugs again still all look good. What is this noise?

i would not run the car till you find the failure. the valve cover has to come off and find the issue.

this is best done by a shop as they are more familiar with these issues.
