bleeder valve location on 1987 mercedes 300e

having overheating problems. replaced radiator, fuel pump, sparkplugs. yesterday put in a treatment for a leak in the head gasket. still overheating. think we may have air in the lines. need the location of the bleeder valve or other suggestions.. Car did not come with owner's manual

Our reference has no instructions specific for bleeding. Run the engine on an upward slant with the radiator cap off. This will cause any air bubbles to move to the radiator and out.
With then engine at operating temp, can you see coolant moving in the radiator? IF not, check the thermostat and water pump.
