Can you tell me why no one stocks a complete V belt system for this Jeep? This jeep has air conditioning and power steering. It has 3 V belts not a serpentine belt. One belt runs crank shaft, fan, and power steering. The other belt runs crank, fan, and air conditioning. No one can tell me what is the length of this belt. It has a idler pulley to adjust it. The other belt is very short and runs from air conditioner to alternator. I have checked with many parts stores and they all want to sell me a serpentine belt. The pulleys on the system are designed for a V belt and three of them. It is a 1987 Jeep wrangler Laredo package. If you have any idea on who would carry this belt would be very helpful. Contacted Jeep dealer and they say it is a serpentine. Very Very wrong.
Thank you,

Everything I have found shows the 87 as having a serp belt. If I go back a year (86) I find V-belts. Here are the lengths I found. Keep in mind, I am looking at an old manual and can only hope these are correct.

AC and Idler is 57"

Fan and P/S is 46.5"

Fan and Alt is 43.5"

Alt with AC is 41"

I hope this helps. I have an 87 with the 4.0L and it has a serp belt.

SAME RESULTS AS J & N, AFTER LOOKING AT SEVERAL ONLINE PARTS STORES

'CEPT I HAVE SOME PART NUMBERS

THIS IS MY FAVORITE STORE, IT'S LOCAL AND I'VE SAVED A BUNDLE THERE!

I LOOKED UP THE '87 - NOTED BELT #s - BUT NO A/C BELT LISTED

I BACKED UP TO AN '86

IT LISTED THE SAME BELTS, BUT INCLUDED THE A/C
