I have a 1987 Honda accord that overheats, is blowing white smoke out of the engine, and the oil light is on and the car shuts off, and smells like something is burning, even though we put 2 qts of oil in it last Sunday. What is wrong with it?

If you are blowing white smoke then looks like you have a blown headgasket. It would be better to take it in to a shop to have it properly diagnose and find the root cause of what caused it to over heat and cause the headgasket to fail. Repairs can be costly depending on how much damaged was done? The cylinder head would need to be sent out to check for warpage and for any cracks? If you have high miles on your vehicle and seems like you may be experiancing high oil consumption as well, you might just be better off replacing the engine if you plan on keeping the vehicle for a while?
