Isn't there manual transmission fluid, or dope as some people call it in my transmission? And if so where do I check it? It is making a roaring sound and it sticks in 5th gear if I come to a stop and then try to change to first from fifth gear.

For automatic, it is known as automatic transmission fluid. For manual transmission, it is called gear oil, which for Honda vehicle is 10/w40 or engine oil. DO NOT use higher grades such as 80 or 90.

At side of transmission near the CV shaft there is a oil level plug. Remove it and check the oil level, top up or replace as necessary. Seems oil level is low and hopefully the damage is not great if you catch it in time.
