I have a 98 ford taurus SE and have had some issues. First the car started then died suddenly and then wouldn't do anything after that. Didn't make noise or lights or anything. So after changing the ignition switch and replacing the diagnostic fuse the car started up slowly but surely. But it had to be jumped with another vehicle. Now when I turn the turn signal on the car dies! I can jump it and get it started again but the battery is now not staying charged! Please someone help!

Let's try to "FULLY" recharge the battery, with it disconnected from the car (Yes, disconnected, there is a reason for that!)

Or Replace it with one that is "FULLY CHARGED"

In some cases, Mr. Computer goes haywire without this being done this-a-way!

Something about the weak battery, just messes up it's thinkin'!
