hazards stopped working

hi, i have a mk4 escort and a while ago my hazards stopped working and my indicators only work if the hazard button is pressed. I was thinking it might be a crossed wire or hazard relay but im not sure, dou you know what it could be?

the turn signal switch needs to be replaced. it has both the 4 way and turns incorporated in the switch
