1987 Dodge Dakota Changed Timing Chain Gears Still Wont Start Drove Town

i have changed the timing chain and gears, but my dakota still wont start. we drove it to town and turned it off and it would not start after that, What could be the problem now.

Any applicable trouble codes? Check compression. If it cranks good,but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, check fuel pressure. Was the vehicle running before you worked on it?
