Put in a new AC Heat controlor but cant get the it to switch to cold. I was told that it had to be reprogramed ? if so can anybody help me out ? The AC works just cant get it off of heat

check for a vacuum leak first, it may be leaking vacuum and not opening or closing something that should be. i'm sending diagram along seeif vacuum is working water valve if valve is getting vacuum that may be why no heat make sure both oses going toheater are hot.
