My 87 Blazer has both fuel and spark. I've poured gas and used starting fluid in the TBI and used the timing light over two different wires to confirm. Turning the engine, it acts like it wants to start, as it almost catches after a few seconds but then just turns over. It doesn't make any sense to me because it started up and ran beautiful just fine two days ago!

Check for compression, if no compression, it won't start. With number one cylinder on top dead center of compression stroke, what is the timing pointer doing?

Check egr and blocked exhaust. Any applicable mil codes? Check fuel pressure and injector pulse.
