My speedometer and mileage counter stopped working. Overdrive light blinks off and on. Tachometer works. Car runs fine, engine light not on.

Depending on the system in your vehicle, if it is electrical VSS, it is faulty or meter cable is broken, or the driven gear of the sensor could have stripped teeth.
