Won't stay in 5th gear when driving on the highway. Does this require a complete overhaul of the gear box or is there a alt fix

It's either a worn shift fork or worn synchronizer hub, sleeve, and inserts if you want it fix they have to go in and investigate what's really wrong or you can go w/o the 5th gear
