I have no spark

The spring steel on the points broke. I have replaced the points, but now have no spark. I have set the gap, but still no spark ?

maybe the capacitor got fried? or installation is shorted?

Thank you. I was thinking capacitor. Not sure what you mean by installation being shorted though.

points wire shorted to ground.
