I own a 1986 Nissan U11 5 speed manual drive. The handbrake problem make me suffer and the car hard to move forward when I using the first gear.
When I released the handbrake, but the handbrake is still on, it makes the car can't move forward, the handbrake light is off when the handbrake is released. What should I do to solve this problem? Thanks

Check to see if any of the parking brake cables are corroded and sticking and not releasing.

It will be the only cable and it will run to the wheels. I don't have a picture.
