Whether in heat mode or air cond. Mode when car first starts blower is on for a couple of minutes then quits and won't come back on until approx. 15 minutes later. Then will work okay until car is shut off and then cycle repeats itself.

Sounds like the blower motor is going bad. Once it heats up, it may be seizing, or shorting out. Also, does it work on all speeds, or only certain? Its possible your resistor is going bad. Without actually performing a voltage drop test, and amp check, it will be hard to diag over the internet. When the blower is on high, does it blow hard, and quiet like it was new? Question being, with age, it may slow down. It slows down because its worn, and the armature/brushes, and magnets cant keep up. Especially when it gets hot. If its noisy, it may have leaves, or mouse debris in it.

Blower motor was replaced with a new unit. It works fine in all speeds when it starts to operate. As I said it comes on for a few minutes then turns off for approx. 15 minutes. Then it comes back on for the duration of the trip until you turn off the ignition. A restart starts the cycle all over again.
