NOTE :
The indicator Instrument (9) for coolant temperature, fuel, oil pressure warning buzzer, economy can only be replaced as a unit.
On vehicles without a trip computer a conductor fuse has been phased-in series production from 5/87 in the instrument cluster assembly.
For identification purposes, this holder is red in color and must be replaced completely if required.
Removal and Installation of Indicator Instrument :
Remove Instrument Cluster. See: Remove/Install Instrument Cluster
Remove Speedometer. See: Speedometer Replacement
Remove Screw (6).
Remove Control Resistor (7).
Remove Screws (8).
Remove indicator Instrument (9).
Reinstall in reverse order.
