Assuming that you've already brought the number one cylinder to Top Dead Center,and have lined the timing marks of the balancer (crank pulley), on the b2000 cam spocket there will be four numbers in series: 1,2,3,4, or alphabets A,B,C, and so forth. The number one represents the number one piston at Top Dead Center when it is lined up with the arrow that is found above and behind the camsprocket where the timing cover bolts to. This times the cam sprocket. There is a vaccum hose going to the distributor (this is for the vaccum advance) that must be disconnected and plugged before ignition can be timed.
