There isn't anything holding it other than an o-ring and corrosion. You should be able to just pull it out using anything that has a hook on the end.

SENDING YOU A LINK TO ONE OF MY ANSWERS (SEE MINE, DISCOUNT THE OTHERS)

https://www.2carpros.com/questions/2002-ford-focus-dipstick-tube-broke-off-there-part-thats-missing-engine-that-nee

PAY ATTENTION TO MY PIC IN THE LINK

A GRINDER, A HARDWARE STORE ROD, BIG SOCKET AND VISE GRIPS

IF THAT DON'T SUIT YOU, AIN'T NUTHIN' LIKE LIFTIN' THE ENGINE TWO INCHES OFF OF THE MOUNTS, DROPPING THE PAN, AND TAPPING IT OUT FROM INSIDE THE BLOCK!

MIGHT AS WELL STICK YOU A REAR MAIN SEAL AND A HIGH VOLUME OIL PUMP WHILE YOU ARE IN THERE

I HAVE NO DOUBTS YOU'LL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IT VIA THE LINK

THAT'LL GIVE YOU PLENTY OF TIME TO GO OVER THE REST OF THE JEEP WITH ME, SO THAT YOU ARE RUNNING THE BEST YOU CAN BE!

BEEN HERE SINCE 2009, CJs ARE MY THANG!
