blows fuse that goes to coil

truck runs fine if you unplug 2 wire connector from altenator. when pluged back in, 2 seconds later it blows fuse.is it probably a short? if so where do i start looking?

it looks like you have a short in the alternator. have a shop verify it.

put a new alternator, new ignition switch and new voltage regulator and still have same problem

nned to examine the wiring. one of them may be shorted to ground against something metal.
