I have a 1986 Isuzu Trooper and it is a stick shift. When the car is off I can put the car into gear. When I start the car it won't seem to go into gear. I just replaced all the clutch and everything connecting to the clutch. How could I fix this?

The clutch isn't disengaging the transmission. Are you sure the slave cylender is good? Did you bleed it?

Yes I did bleed it. But I am going to work on it today so anything will help. I am going to go through everything again to see if I missed something. So thank you so much.

The only other thing I can think of is the pressure plate, throw out bearing. Isn't put together properly. Since the trans shifts with the engine off, it is fine.
