I have a 1986 Isuzu Trooper and it is a stick shift. When the car is off I can put the car into gear. When I start the car it won't seem to go into gear. I just replaced all the clutch and everything connecting to the clutch. How could I fix this?

The clutch isn't disengaging the transmission. Are you sure the slave cylender is good? Did you bleed it?

Yes I did bleed it. But I am going to work on it today so anything will help. I am going to go through everything again to see if I missed something. So thank you so much.

The only other thing I can think of is the pressure plate, throw out bearing... isn't put together properly. Since the trans shifts with the engine off, it is fine.

Let me know what you find.
