Drove home from work, all is fine. Battery charging fine according to gauge. Parked car. 3 hrs later, turned the key. No dash lights, no accessories, nothing. Cables SEEM fine upon visual inspection. Cleaned the terminals. Attached jumper cables from working vehicle. Still nothing. Assuming cables are good, I installed a new ignition switch and new starter relay. I now suspect fusible link. (I should have went there first, right?) Would the fusible link cause COMPLETE electrical failure to accessories?

Yes, the fusible is the first link between battery and ignition switch and you are right about starting there because we should always start with the basics. Get a test light to test the power supply from battery to main fuse box
