As it has gotten colder out my 86 gmc suburban has started to run rough and now has stopped running all together i am getting spark as it will turn over and run for a short time. any sort of advice would be much appreciated. thanks

i have recently(within a month or two) replaced spark plugs and wires, cap and rotor, ignition coil, oil and filter.

the suburban will start up for a few seconds occasionally with a very low idle and the shut off and before it stopped running i was having problems with it running very high rpms as it has gotten colder
