dogs when givin gas

i have a 86 astro van and it idles fine but dogs out when givin gas what could it be.. some say cv pressure valve but not sure where its located

cv pressure?????

check fuel pressure. could be timing, clogged cat,or basics. when was the last time you did a tune up??
