1986 GMC Jimmy Oil leak

I own a 1986 gmc jimmy and its currently leaking oil but I don't know how to find the leak. any tips?

Oil runs down from the point of the leak so look for the highest spot you see oil. You can wash the engine with a degreaser, add a small bottle of dark purple dye, then search later with a black light. The dye will show up as a bright yellow stain that you can follow back to the source.
