My 1986 Ford F-150 has neen having a bad flooding problem when its cranked the RPMs generally stay between 1500-2000 then i wait for them to lower and they go to normal like 900-1000 then they will start rising and dropping and the truck wants to kill out. It is flooding because I smell gas and see that its being expelled through the tail pipe due to the black grim on the outside of the pipe. I've changed the plug wires and the fuel pressure regulator and even reset the computer system and its still flooding. I need to know a series of possibilities that could be resulting in this so I can repair it. It is an EFI too no carb. Thank you!
