The mechanic told me it needed replacing however when I went to replace it I found the wire was loose and the boot to the throttle housing was loose also. I pushed the plug all the way into the socket and tightened the boot and it idles fine but when I accelerate it has a miss. Does the ICV affect that? Thanks
