I have an electrical problem. Something keeps shorting out my alternator, I am assuming its the cables but I know nothing about replacing the wires I dont even know of thats the problem. The battery is new, alternator is new, starter is new. The wires and connections are old. Please advise.

Can't happen, ... Well, shorting out at least, but repeat failures can occur but that's mainly a big GM problem. What exactly is happening to the generators and how many have you gone through? New, rebuilt, or used ones? What's the symptom when they fail?
