Hey SMITH,
I looks like it is on the passenger side of the engine compartment or down low on the firewall on the drivers side , here are diagrams for you to help get the problem fixed.

I cannot find the ignition control module anywhere along the fire wall. Where is it exactly located?

see picture. it may be on the fender-well between washer fluid tank and firewall. also, check ballast resistor as that used to a big problem especially if when you crank it fires then quits when you let off.
