How do I replace the fuel pump?

Lower the gas tank if necessary for access. Unplug the two-wire connector. Remove the rubber hose. Turn the lock ring 1/3 turn counter-clockwise and lift it off. Pull the assembly out. Reverse the procedure to put the new on in.
