won't go into reverse

I have a GM th700r4 transmission that won't go into reverse, but all other gears work perfectly. Any suggestions? Transmission won't go into reverse.

Drive it in "low" or "1" a little ways. If it shifts to second gear suspect a broken low / reverse band inside the transmission.
