I bought a 1992 lt1 tune port engine and wiring harness and computer that was in a 1970 Chevy truck and the guy told me the harness and computer will work with my 86 Chevrolet truck I was just wanting to make sure it will work

As I'm sure you're aware, the harness and computer weren't factory in the 70. They won't be factory for your truck either. Can you make it work? I'm sure you can but it isn't going to be a plug in and go situation.
