will a 1987 350 chevy engine fit in a 1986 chevy truck?

You can put anything in your truck 454, 305, 350, any year anything even straight 6 cyl 4.3l v6 all will mount and fit the trans BUT if the engine is fuel injected you have to use a motor that is fuel injected and 305 and 350 and 454 will work on the same injection. But all 6cyls are different so if you have any more q&a hit me back.
