I would like some more detailed explanation on what stops the window motor at full up and full down positions. Are there limit switches? If so, where are they located? If a thermal switch acts as a limit switch and shuts down the power, why do I not hear or feel the wingdow try to work when I touch the button again? I am working on getting the windows to match up to newly replaced weatherstripping. I suspect a limit switch or relay issue that is intermittent is adding to my troubleshooting woes. It is tough to diagnose when I don't have an electrical diagram that shows the limit switches, if applicable.

there are no limit switches if its a regulator it simply runs out of gear as well as a stop
on window. see pic. if having trouble with install silicone weather stripping with spray and there is an adjustment that can be made thru regulator and window tracks however we have no pics of something that old. so if to much trouble see a local mechanic for advise
