My 1986 Chevy Celebrity cranks but wont turn over. It has plenty of gas, however its not getting gas into the fuel injector. Had a so called mechanic check it out and he pulled the distributor out and thats where Im at with it. Would this possibly be the problem, a bad distributor?

The distributor has nothing to do with the engine getting fuel. It sounds like you either have a plugged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump. You would have to check both of those things to determine what may be the problem.

I was told that there was no spark as well so therefore it would not be a clogged fuel filter correct?

IF there is no spark, that is a different circuit than the fuel system.
