The car just dies while you're driving along. I told my dad probably Idle air control valve. He took it to the garage they had it 5 days, nothing shows up on the computer, is it still the idle air control?

no, a computer will not tell you the issue. testing will tell you the issue

check fuel pressure

check spark, it could be a module or crank sensor
