How do I get the trouble codes to come up in the instrument panel? Can I turn the ignition over a certain times to get the warning to flash a code on the speedometer panel?

That simple ignition switch procedure is for Chrysler products. For yours, find the diagnostic connector under the steering column, connect terminals "A" and "B", then turn on the ignition switch and count the flashes of the Check Engine light. Terminals A and B are the two right next to each other in one corner.
