1986 Audi 4000 where the resitor

ok i took the center of the dash apart to look at the switch and found the its the resistor that is going bad but i have no idea where it at ive replace a few in other cars and van(american) but never in an audi the car is completely different from what im used to it works on high and that it no 1 ,2,3 only 4 unless there a relay on a sort somewhere ? please help

the resistor is on the blower housing probably close to blower motor. also check item 14 in pic as it's a relay and may get blower to work on high. use another relay for testing.
