Rattling noise, all other gears work fine, is this fixable? 5 speed manual transmission, all other gears work fine. Is this a clutch issue, transmission replacement time? Please advise

I provided useful info that has now been removed.

If "experts" are not familiar with this "common" 020 gear noise, then they are not "experts" in
VW's.

The original poster was happy with my replies, yet the "experts" have yet to post something useful.

There's something wrong with this forum!
