Transmission trouble

Hi there,
the gearbox mounting broke in my car lately and the engine dropped down a few inches.I replaced the mounting and the drivers side drive shaft, (its front wheel drive) as it had popped out.I drove the car today and find that when pulling away in first gear the car judders and it feels like i have selected the wrong gear,but i have'nt!,have i some Transmission, differencial trouble?,can you think of what it could be,thanks in advance. sounds like the axle may be binding not really anything in the diff that would cause this. possibly a brake dragging
