My rocker arms don't have an adjusting screw/Bolt, how do I set the tappet clearance?

I've just replaced a head gasket and a cracked head an my 85 toyota hilux 3y engine and i'm up to setting the tappets, but there's no bolt/screw or anythin g like that to set it with.
