car will not reverse just changed the whole steering column. what could it be? ive already checked and filled the transmission fluid.

could be an internal failure.

have a trans shop check it to verify

All other gears work fine. jus no reverse at first it hesitated and would reverse very slowly and now nothing. Is there anything i can Check before taking it to a Shop?

just the fluid level.
