FLUSHED COOLING SYSTEM AND REPLACED THERMOSTAT

i replaced my thermostat and now the truck idles fast and over heating nissan 1995 what did i do wrong i flushed the cooling system too

Hi was this done as a diagnostic repair or just routine maint?
if just for maint and no prob before service, then most likely air in the cooling system remove radiator cap let run until thermostat opens bleed air bubbles from rad fill. you may have a bleeder in the thermostat housing if so use this to bleed system.
