I changed the thermostat and bled the cooling system.Still no change. Im just wondering before I take it to be repaired if there is anything else i should try changing. I also sprayed ether around the vacuum lines and didnt find a leak. The idle speed is still at 3000-3500 after its warmed up.Is it just a matter of turning the idle down or what are you ideas on this situation. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Do you mean there are two carbs or one 2bbl? It sounds like a choke is sticking.
