1985 GMC Suburban will die when it's warm won't start on it's own have to use a lot of starting fluid finally will run on it's own. The choke light comes on when it dies, my wife is convinced the problem is with the choke. The people that we got it from said they were told that the problem is in the steering column.

Best check the choke if its opening -could be doing the other way and loading up the engine causing to die out
