1985 Chevrolet Van Power Steering Pump

The power steering pump is leaking fluid, and I'm told that there are two types of pump for the Chevy G30 van (350). How can I find out what is the correct pump for my model? Also, is it necessary to use a flush kit when replacing the pump?

no you don't need to use a flush kit it shold be a Saginaw pump just take the old one in and match with a new/rebuilt
