1985 Chevrolet Truck no lights..

Ok. I have no lights at all.. Dash, floor or over head. I checked the fuses so I replaced the breaker still no worky. Would the light switch have anything to do with it.. But my locks don't work so I wouldn't think it was the switch.. So if there is a relay some where, where would it be located at..

Did you check fuses under the hood? To be honest, it is most likely the headlight switch. Did the lights and locks stop working at the same time?

I did check fuses.. And yes both stopped at same time.. How is locks and lights related to the switch..

They're not relates, but they could have the same body ground. Have you checked for broken grounds? Is the truck rusted at all? I have to ask because I live in PA and everything rusts here.

I bypassed the hot wire going to the starter and ran it to the junction box. But I still don't have lights in cab. Where would the ground wire be at for the headlight switch..
