It will crack but will not start

Hey I just brought a 1985 monte Carlo I can get it to start by pouring gas into the carburetor but it will only stay started for a few seconds then dies. I need a little help please anyone?

First try taping on top of the carb when cranking. Check fuel psi and volume. Remove the fuel line and filter blow some air in to the carb. You might have to remove the top of the carb and clean out the bole

When I cracked it I did here the fuel pump come on. And it has a fairly new fuel filter on it. I haven't had much time to check it on but I will be doing anything I can allay tomorrow.

4.3 fuel injection I belive it's a 303

Hey guys sorry I havnt got back to y'all yet. But I letting y'all no that I got the car running, it was just a cinched fuel line on top of the tank. But now I just blead my brake but they still aren't tight enough for me to go test drive it. I still have to push the brake peddle all the way to the floor just to barly get the car to stop. Any answers will help thank
