1985 Chevrolet Celebrity 85 Shifts Quick 2nd Drive Automatic Does This Brings

My 85 celebrity shifts to quick from 2nd to drive its an automatic but when it does this it brings down the rpms which it kills the power of the engine which makes it want to shake and cut out until it gets rpms built up then its fine help me please.........

there is a throttle cable that is adjustable on the throttle body where the accelarator cable attaches. you can play with that adjustment to see if it helps. otherwise, it is an issue in the valve body.
