Check for both power and ground arriving at the clutch. If you have both, then you likely have a bad clutch.

There is a pressure sensor on the high side line going to the evaporator. Theirs a 2 wire round sensor. Jump across that sensor to see if the clutch engauges. Poss. Bad sensor or wrong pressures.

He already stated he has power to the compressor. Lets verify whether that is true or not before worrying about any of the many switches or sensors that may not even be an issue.

Also, is this a FWD Fleetwood or a Fleetwood Brougham? Auto Temp Control or manual?

85 is fwd wrenchtech. The programer applys a ground for the clutch and the blower motor. He needs to test the ground. I would use a test light and jumper wire ground one end and hook the other end to the test light. Then reground the neg. Wire to test. The clutch should engage.

No, there was a RWD Brougham made from through 88 and he needs to perform the tests I asked him to first before he gets totally confused.
