1985 Cadillac El Dorado Air Compression Coming On Level Ride Light On Either

the air compression is not coming on. and the level ride light isnt coming on either. i am not sure what to check first or what could be causing this. please help.

u will see a wire with the green connecter at the compressor.turn the key on and ground that wire.the compressor should start running.start here
